My School ( SMPN 1 Wonogiri ) got ISO certificate. Glad to heard it!

Hey all!
I'm so happy! My school got ISO certificate, I'm glad to knew it. That's mean, our school has reached the international standard, yay I'm so happy! Of course, it gives some consequences for us, like we must improve our teaching quality, we must improve our discipline, etc.
Well, do you know what is the meaning of ISO?


International Organization for Standardization ( ISO) is the international standard settlers body consisting of representatives from national standardization bodies of each country. At first, an abbreviation of the name of the institution is IOS, not the ISO. But now more often use the ISO abbreviation for the Greek language means the same ISOs (equal). This usage can be seen in the isometric or isonomi.

Established on February 23, 1947, the ISO sets the standards of industrial and commercial world. ISO, which is an international non-profit institution, was originally formed to create and introduce international standardization for anything. Standards that should be familiar include the standard types of photographic film, the size of a phone card, bank ATM card, the size and thickness of paper and others. In setting a standard that they invite representatives from 130 member countries to sit in the Technical Committee (TC), Sub-Committee (SC) and Working Group (WG).

Although ISO is a nongovernmental organization, the ability to set standards that often become law through the approval or national standards makes it more powerful than most non-governmental organizations other, and in practice the ISO into a consortium with strong links with the government parties.ISO participants including one national standards bodies from each state and large corporations.


ISO works with international electrical engineering Commission (IEC) is
responsible for standardization of electronic equipment.

Implementation of ISO in a company allows you to:

* Improve corporate image
* Improving environmental performance of companies
* Increasing the efficiency of activities
* Improving the management of the organization by applying the plan
ning, implementation, measurement and corrective action (plan, do, check, act)
* Increasing the arrangement of the provisions of legislation in terms of environmental management
* Reduce business risks
* Increased competitiveness
* Improve internal communication and good relations with various stakeholders
* Getting the trust of customers / partners / investors
